Betty Kerby Peppard

Betty Peppard’s golf accomplishments and her contributions to the game are many and significant. Over the years she has played in four LPGA events and has won thirteen championship titles in the Women’s Akron District Golf Association. As a tireless advocate for women’s amateur golf, she has worked annually for the USGA Junior Girls’ qualifier. She has been a USGA Regional Affairs representative and Rules Official for many years.

Betty is a two-time WOSGA champion and three-time runner-up, as well as a medalist and co-medalist. Betty has maintained her interest in Ohio amateur golf by volunteering annually for the Rules Committee at the Ohio Junior Girls’ Championship, the Senior Amateur and the Amateur tournaments sponsored by the WOSGA. Her help at these tournaments has been invaluable.

Sadly, Betty passed away in April 2013 and will be missed by the many people she touched through her passion for golf.
